Our story
Tropical Évasion was born from a lasting attachment to the Dominican Republic, that island where time seems to slow down and where the sea, palm trees, and the warmth of hospitality make up a daily life one never forgets.
The agency was founded in 2010 by two friends based on the island and committed to local tourism. Established in Bayahibe, it was built on a simple conviction: there is another République Dominicaine, far from large resorts and mass tourism, made up of fishing villages, hidden waterfalls, secluded beaches and genuine encounters.
Today, Joy and Bernard carefully design each itinerary, listening closely to every traveler's wishes. Joy regularly travels across the island in search of new addresses and personally meets the hoteliers, drivers, guides and chefs who accompany our trips — a patient endeavor to ensure that quality remains consistent, year after year.
